Description

Sloppy Joe Gnocchi is slightly different than your average Sloppy Joe recipe but really hearty and ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb ground beef

1 package Gnocchi (17.6 oz)

¼ cup red bell pepper, chopped

¼ cup green bell pepper, chopped

¼ cup yellow bell pepper, chopped

1 cup onion, chopped

¾ cup honey bbq sauce

½ cup ketchup

½ teaspoon granulated garlic

½ teaspoon cinnamon

½ teaspoon ground ginger

¼ teaspoon smoked paprika

olive oil for the pan

salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Salt water if desired and cook gnocchi halfway through (see cook time on packaging), drain and set aside. Add olive oil to a pan, cook onions until translucent, add all of the bell pepper and cook until vegetables are tender. Add ground beef, sauteeing until beef has browned. Add spices, ketchup, bbq sauce, salt, and pepper to the pan. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes on low heat.
  2. Add gnocchi to the ground beef mixture, stirring to combine; cook for an additional 2 minutes on low heat or until gnocchi is ready to eat.
